In today's world zombies are a large part of pop culture with such literary additions as "zombie survival guide" and countless movies. Considering all of our exposure to such fictional outbreaks of most so called zombies or living dead I do believe that zombies would be dealt with by the average citizen. just ask yourself. Could you survive 5 to 10 slow or even fast moving zombies as long as you are equipped with a bat or a shovel. Hell I could! If I was to come along a gun I know I would survive the zombie outbreak.
The one outbreak that scares me is if any contact with a zombie would infect a living organism I.E. AIRBORNE!! if you can contract the zombie virus just by breathing near an infected person we would be fu*ked! Other than an airborne virus I have high hopes for human kind in a zombie outbreak as far as survival. The thing that worries me "other than an airborne outbreak"would be the ramifications of such an outbreak.
We already kill each other for land food and resources. just think of what would happen if we had moral right to shoot some one in the head! "oh I had to do it he had become a zombie!" or " oh she was bitten so I just killed her so she didn't have to go threw becoming a zombie!" For a long while we would be under no law. How would we tell if some one was a killer or a survivor? With no law and "CSI lol" how could we tell if some one was killing zombies or killing people for their own interest. Only with crime seen investigators would we be able to dinnertime peoples innocence. Of course we could tell to a degree but how many killers would get by?
So in conclusion the largest threat to all of the worlds civilizations by a zombie outbreak would not be survival but our humanity even our loss of cutler who knows what we could loose when everyone has a license to kill with no one to regulate our crimes.
